Happy Birthday, Els! Have a great one!
Just stopped by to say hello
Merry Christmas, Els!!
Happy Birthday, Els!
My mom’s been taken to the hospital this morning.
She was feeling pretty awful, had pain in her chest and felt dizzy, so my dad called their doctor. She took a cardiogram and noticed my mom’s heart rhythm was completely disordered, so the doctor immediately called for an ambulance to take her to the hospital.
I was at work when my dad called me. It’s one of those calls you dread to get. I went to the hospital after work, and thankfully, my mom already felt somewhat better. They are doing tests to see what causes the disordered heart rhythm. She will have to stay for at least a few more days for things to get back to normal again. I sure hope that will be the case. I just hate to see her like this, but I know she’s in good hands. I hope they find what’s wrong so they can fix it. She already has all those problems with her Parkinson’s disease, so she really doesn’t need anything else.
On a side note: my brother’s children always go over to my parents for lunch when it'sschool. They just love to go there. So my parents had to somehow warn those children that they wouldn’t be home. Thankfully, my sister-in-law was home today, so she called the schools to have them pass the message to the children. Unbelievable but true, they warned only two of them and somehow forgot the third and youngest one. He’s also the most sensitive of the three. He went to my parents’ house as usual and was devastated to find nobody home. He just didn’t know what was wrong and was just thinking the worst. He finally decided to go home after a while and my sister-in-law said he just couldn’t stop crying. He was so afraid that something bad had happened.
I just don’t understand those schools sometimes…
If you should have a little thought and prayer left for my mom, that would be soooooo great and very very very much appreciated.
